What’s it all about then? Well. it‘s basically a week-long community festival aimed at encouraging the renovation of old. donated bikes as well as offering the public an opportunity to learn new cycling skills. So do I need to have a top of the range BMX to bring along? Not at all. in fact the organisers have a range of roadworthy bikes for sale. both adu‘ts and kids. from as little as £10. But surely we do more than just ride around all week honing our cycling skills? ()f cout‘sc. there‘s an array of activities to choose from. including fancy dress competitions. pub quizzes. volunteer sessions. bike art workshops and loads more.
