I Cut the Crap at MAS. llpm-3am. £5. Weekly. Cut the Crap launch the new twisted house and electronica night at this smart venue.

I Disco Badger at Bamboo. 5pm—3am. £5 (£3). Weekly. A night that will bring together guests from all over the Glasgow club landscape. Sole. the now deceased Volcano and a plethora of other clubs will be donating spinners in the coming months.

I Dream at Strawberry Fields. 10.30pm—3am. £l5. Weekly. Fifteen quid to get in‘.’ You’re ‘avin' a laugh. ain't ya’.’ But wait: the bar is completely free all night. so stop moaning and get drunk.

I Hard Wired at Barfly (formerly the 13th Note Club). 9pm—3am. Free. Weekly. A night so rockin’ it will have Kurt wishing he hadn't been quite so rash. Happily avoiding 35-year-olds in shorts with a sketchy knowledge of rap (no nu metal) and L'Oreal-abusing poodlers. Hard Wired will play tunes from left of the middle big hitters such as Weezer. Foo Fighters. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Hundred Reasons in the downstairs area. I Kinky at Trash. llpm—3am. £5 (£3). Weekly. Paul N'Jie plays hard funky soul and hip hop. while Stevie Brown plays out the party tunes elsewhere on the premises. Life’s a Drag at the Mercury Lounge. Spin—3am. Free. Weekly. A night of music from DJ Colin Davey plus regular drag performances.

I Liquid Cool at Babaza. 9pm—3am. £5. Weekly. AJ. Kris Keegan and Ian Thompson play top-notch vocal garage and house to a club packed with hyper- hedonistic twentysomething revellers. all of who seem to have forgotten that they have work in the morning. lf quality tunes and glamorous antics are your bag. Sun at Babaza is unmissable.

I Sunday Surgery at Cube. llpm—3am. £5 (£3). Weekly. Cameron Craig dispenses some salve for your soul in this diverting winder-downer with a medical theme.

Prizes galore. prizes for the worst dressed. disastrous haircuts. sluttish antics and general misbehaviour make this a remarkable pre-club spectacle. I Salsa for Beginners at Cuba Norte. 7pm—midnight. £4 (£3). Weekly. Can you learn the salsa? Give it a right good go at this high-class night of tomfoolery.

I Salsa Vida at Havana. £4. Weekly. Feel the rhythm. This is a relaxed and friendly salsa class (with teacher Andy Baird) for those wishing to dip their toes in the salsa water.

I Doctor Salsa at Havana. 8-10pm. Free. Weekly. A salsa class for beginners with Doctor Salsa. Let the good doctor check your salsa pulse at this popular Tue class.

I Samba wlth Thalssal at Cuba Norte. 7pm—midnight. £5. Weekly. Another good alternative to the house. techno and cheesy nights that dominate Glasgow's nightlife. Learn samba camival style as well as chilling out to samba reggae beats. Or move upstairs to the tapas bar and get a bit ambient.

I Cubata at Bamboo. 5pm—3am. £5 (£3). Weekly. Scotti B and Junior Campos join the dots between jazz. funk. soul. hip hop. R&B and Latin to deliver a worldly musical mix.

I Elastlk at Barfly (formerly the 13th Note Club). llpm—3am. £2. Weekly. DJ Ona (aka Amanda from Bis) and DJ Mingo—go. take over the musical selection for the foreseeable future while 803 takes a break to concentrate on other things. Injecting some much needed oestrogen into the world of DJing and playing some damn fine electro mixed into a randomly selected soundscape.

I FAB at Babaza. llpm—3am. Free before 11pm; £4 (£3) after. Weekly. DJ Skud blends garage. R&B and funky house. playing to a dressed-up crowd who help to make this one of the busiest midweek nights in Glasgow.

I Jungo at Archaos. llpm-3am. Free (£2). Weekly. Student classics. indie and cheese are the order of the day at this weekl ' Wed.

I Joints and Jams at Cube. llpm—3am. £3 (£2). Weekly. The award- winning club brings you the best R&B. hip hop and soul DJs in the city. Residents Martin Hesketh. John Lyons. Puppa Shango and DMG on rotation every Wed. With regular guest DJs s and PAs. it's no wonder that Joints and Jams is the longest running R&B night in Glasgow.

I New Flesh at Privilege. 9pm—2am. £4 (£1). Weekly. Alternative rock. punk. rap. industrial and indie night. playing everything from AC/DC to Aphex Twin. and all of this on a Wed night? Too intriguing to ass up.

I People uslc at MAS. 11pm—3am. £4 (£2). Weekly. New night of hip hop and house from two of the better underground Glasgow boys. Michael Peck and Tom Reeve rack them up and knock them down. Great for a Wed.

I Shacksss at Shack. lO.30pm—3.30am. £5 (£3). Weekly. The. er. inimitable DJ Toast spins the finest in chart classics. with a healthy smattering of cheese also.

I Stud’essentlal at Jongleurs. 9pm—3am. Free. Weekly. Fresh student night at the comedy club in the big building. Free entry and a shitload of drinks promos mean that the crowd will be in fine fettle.
