As Glasgow’s Summer in the City programme comes to an end, there is still one more event not to be missed. The Glasgow Show is a mixed day out for all ages, with horticultural, musical and sporting activities over the weekend. Victoria Park is transformed into a blooming blast of colour with two horticultural marquees and. for the first time ever, several themed zones. The marquees will be showing floral displays, selling plants and giving expert gardening advice while the five zones will concentrate on animals. floral. wet. sports and reflective themes. These will include everything from Clydesdale horses and Highland cattle to the Glasgow Evergreen flower show and boating and sailing events on the pond. The sports zone gives everyone a chance to try their hand at a new sport such as skateboarding. rock climbing or acrobouncing. But for those who like things a little calmer. the reflective zone gives you the chance to relax and chill out to live classical music. Alongside the marquees and zones there will be non stop entertainment throughout the weekend including motor cycle stunts, police dogs and pipe bands. The Radio Clyde roadshow will also be on hand to keep the day lively
