So who are we looking for? Well. naturally you'll

be enthusiastic and dedicated. with an interest in arts and entertainment who will pm the existing team of technicians to prowde a professmnai lighting. sound engineering and stage management serwce to clients.

Theatre Technician (Lighting)

You Will be educated to HND level in Theatre Lighting/ Production and Technical Theatre or related disciplines or have extensive work experience in this area. With at least four years' operational experience of lighting design. rigging and operation including intelligent lighting systems. you Will be able to demonstrate experience of a broad variety of productions and events within the Theatre/Arts and corporate industries. Theatre Technician (Stage)

You will be educated to HND level in Production and Technical Theatre or related disciplines or have extensive work experience in this area. With at least three years'

operational experience of stage management, flying and rigging. you will be able to demonstrate experience

of a broad variety of events and productions within the Theatre /Arts and corporate industries. It is also desirable that you will have experience of audio-visual equipment operation. Ref: NLC/CS/CRS/OOB

Assistant Theatre

Technician (Lighting)

You will be educated to NC level or equivalent in Theatre Lighting or have extensive work experience in this area. With operational experience of lighting design, rigging

and operation in a Theatre/Arts context. Ref: NLC/CS/CRS/009

Assistant Theatre Technician (Sound)

You wrll be educated to NC level or equivalent in subjects relating to audio technology or audio engineering or have extenswe work experience in this area. and operational experience of sound systems within a live Theatre/Arts context. Ref: NLC/CS/CRS/010

For all posts. yOu will have a sound knowledge of related health and safety issues. including Risk Assessment. In addition. you will be confident. well presented. able to work as part of a team and calm under presswe. You must also hold a current driving licence.

You will work an average of 35 hours per week and will be expected to work to meet the needs of the service. including evenings and weekends.

Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal conviction check through Disclosure Scotland.

This is your chance to join the creative and growing arts team of Sense Scotland.

You will play a key role within our respected Arts Department, developing and delivering accessible arts activities for deafblind pepple. You will be part of our exciting new arts base. and will develop opportunities to promote our arts programme to a wider audience through exhibition, networking and other activities. You will be a creative and energetic visual artist and have experience of working with peOpIe who have a disability.
