A glass and a half of milk in every pound

Here are some nights to look out for over 2006: Jeff Mills drops in for his annual date at Pressure (24 February), and Slam reach their tenth year programming at T in the Park. They’re keeping hush hush about the line-up but expect something special. Staying at the Arches, Colours hit their 11th birthday with Danny Howells putting in a five hour set (4 February) and have announced another Coloursfest at Braehead Arena (3 June). Over in Edinburgh Cassius join Motel on 11 February and finally Headspin (who celebrate their eighth birthday this issue, 28 January) have already announced DJ Yoda for their August Festival date.

In booze news. the Sub Club have taken over MacSortey‘s public house on the corner of Jamaica Street and Oswald Street. Glasgow. Expect a major relaunch in February with a full programme of live music. DJS arid grub.
