Based on William Joyce’s illustrated children’s book, A Day with Wilbur Robinson, this computer-animated Disney film follows the adventures of Lewis, a young orphaned inventor who is determined to find his birth mother but somehow he
ends up in 2037 with a boy called Wilbur Johnson. This charming, zany film, containing excellent voice work from the likes of Angela Bassett, Tom Selleck and Adam West, marks Pixar head John Lasseter’s first outing as an executive producer on a non-Pixar movie. The film still stiffed, however, when it opened earlier in the year, so this Take 2 Saturday morning screening may be your last chance to see it on the big screen.
