It’s been launchtastic this month, with some of the Scotland's biggest festivals announcing their line-ups. We bring you the highlights

Kings ol’ Leon and The Killers. Snow Patrol. Razorlight and Iilbow will also appear in Balado over the weekend. New acts conlirmed include Keane. Bloc Party. Paulo Nutini. Manic Street Preachers. Ilighland Culture. The music festival will include a race around the loch and mountain bike event. While the music line- up is still to be announced. organiser‘s Unique Iivents promise a range of films. comedy and cabaret. plus talks and debates.

DIGICULT KICKS OFF

I DigiCult. the new Scottish company led by local producers, has put together a pool of talent including BAFTA Scotland award winners, film programmers. recent graduates, experimental filmmakers. and television directors to make a selection of films.
The Scottish Digital shorts programme was launched in October last year and is the company's first nationwide project; the company will continue to work with them to develop and workshop their short drama or animation projects with DigiCult’s local producers over the next four months.
