This month the club goes wild with local guests Animal Farm and Dance Junkie (Orderly Disorder). ■ Ballbreaker and Vice at the Cathouse. Weekly 10.30pm–3am. £5 (£4). DJs Billy and Martin Bate play a selection of rock, metal, emo and even hip hop over two floors. ■ Banjax at La Cheetah. 26 Nov, 11pm–3am. £10. A new bi-monthly night from Dave Shades (Mount Heart Attack), Tommy & McGarvatron (Bass Invaders) and Data Rape aka Full Phat (Obese, Concept Theory). A regular deep house party with residents Russell Ventilla and Andy Barton, and regular international guests. Scotland’s biggest commercial club night presents an array of massive names. November’s date features Dutch DJ, producer and former graffiti artist Laidback Luke, who has made a name for himself with twitchy electro tracks and housey dancefloor fillers, and worked with artists like Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Junior Sanchez.

Ass-shaking session from the LUYD fanzine pitched as ‘a response to the boredom and brain-dead stagnation that plagues modern gay culture’, with residents DJ Suezz, Lock Up Your DJs and Skeleton Boy. Tonight’s live bands are Ugly Baby, Triple Vision and Salty Lips. The straight-friendly queer bash is this month also hosting a Movember special. Grow your own or buy one inside, with all proceeds going to the Movember prostrate cancer foundation. ✽✽ Naive at the Art School. 19 Nov, 11pm–3am. £5. The latest kid on the Glasgow club block, Naïve promises a blend of cultured, cosmopolitan French Touch and Gallic electro. They’re getting off to a good start, with DJ Feadz and Mr. Flash joining Shaun Fae Solar and Sam Vitamins. ■ Noise Pollution at the Art School. 26 Nov, 11pm–3am. £10. A night of diverse house, techno and electro from resident and promoter Sean Matthews. This month’s guests are spaced-out techno jock Move D, formerly one half of Deep Space Network and a recording artist for labels like Source, Warp and Modern Love, and techno duo Solab (7th Sign Recordings). ■ Old Skool at the Buff Club. Glasgow’s biggest indie night, with regular local, national and international guest DJs and live bands representing the best of Glasgow’s scene. November’s date is a seventh birthday special headlined by guest DJs The National, fresh from their O2 Academy gig. Live bands will be For Abel, Skinny Villains and Strawberry Ocean Sea, with cake, balloons and a free fanzine for the first 100 guests to arrive. ■ Pressure at the Arches. 26 Nov, 11pm–3am. £15. This month will be a special one-off event dedicated to cosmic disco, space-concept rock and galactic boogie which will boldly go where no club has gone before, with guest DJs Den Haan (Dissident, Optimo Music). ■ Riot Radio at Maggie May’s. Disco and other retro sounds from the young TDC crowd at one of Glasgow’s best up and coming parties.
