Her second solo album, Interstellar, signalled a departure from the girl-pop mantras of her first incarnation as Frankie Rose and the Outs. Referencing 80s electro legends New Order and ex-bandmates the Vivian Girls among her influences, she’s been described as ‘Stevie Nicks backed by Warpaint’ and ‘Veronica Falls meets Arthur Russell’ both decent summings up of her cerebral electro-indie pop.
