TAKASHI ITO: OTHER ROOMS Takashi Ito is an experimental filmmaker with a talent for creating bizarre, innovative short films that establish their own warped, interior logic – visions Ito himself refers to as ‘fascinating nightmares’. A selection of his work will be screened in 16mm at this event as part of the Glasgow Short Film Festival, along with a sample of short films by his antecedents and successors, providing some contextual insight into what influenced Ito and who he inspired in return – an essential event for fans of short, experimental and Japanese cinema. ■ CCA, Glasgow, Sat 15 Feb.
