TAKASHI ITO: OTHER ROOMS Takashi Ito is an experimental filmmaker with a talent for creating bizarre, innovative short films that establish their own warped, interior logic visions Ito himself refers to as ‘fascinating nightmares’. A selection of his work will be screened in 16mm at this event as part of the Glasgow Short Film Festival, along with a sample of short films by his antecedents and successors, providing some contextual insight into what influenced Ito and who he inspired in return an essential event for fans of short, experimental and Japanese cinema.
